The Philippine Appliance Industry

The global economic crisis has undoubtedly affected the Philippine appliance industry. Ever since this crisis hit the world, the Philippines has not been immune to its effects. Many institutions were forced to close and some started laying-off their employees. While others continue to face the challenges that the economic crisis brings, there are daily competitions that will have to be faced on who will dominate the business.


Many appliance stores in the Philippines have adapted various marketing strategies on how to keep up and be competitive with other business institutions, maximize their profit and attract more customers. Selling retail appliances in the Philippines is hard to handle because there are already many well known and established competitors. Some competitors have the power to attract more customers simply because of their name and the quality of the services rendered to customers. A company with long years of experience doesn’t necessarily mean that they will lead in the business industry. But companies with expert managing, a well planned and executed marketing strategy and those with good quality products and services rendered to customers will most likely be the ones to succeed.


The global economic storm may be far from over, but by simply adapting fair business practices, any Philippine appliance company can and will be able to whether it successfuly
